Quite honestly, I think that the Origins Centre is the best museum in South Africa. It’s brilliant in every way and you simply must check it out for yourself.

Prof. PG Raman, University of the Free State, in Architecture South Africa, January/February 2007

More than any other recent museum, the Origins Centre succeeds in disseminating a vast range of research and intellectual material from a diverse range of fields in a coordinated way that’s accessible to a lay public. Its use of a wide variety of presentation techniques, perfectly suited to the requirement of each visitor, is a rare achievement...In the end, the museum is exemplary in its attempt to synthesize exhaustive knowledge available from an infinite number of sources, presenting it in all its complexity without ever dumbing it down for the visitor.
